Bass The bite has been a normal summer pattern the last few days. We have been catching most of our fish early morning and late even except for a few schooling fish. Try using a zoom frog (white)or a (pearl) zoom fluke weighted. Spy Baits Herring Color have been working best on the surfacing fish. Look for the grass in the backs of creeks 13ft to 16ft of water. There are a few Large Mouth in the areas as well. This bite should continue to get better over the next few weeks as the water starts to cool off a bit. Brown TroutWe have not had much success the last couple of days with the trout. We did catch a couple trolling Lucky Craft Pointer SPs over the channel trolling 20 to 25ft deep. Look for the trout bite to get better as we head towards thw end of September. These fish don’t like warm water!
