With the recent rains the lake seems to be coming up a little. Most of the striped Bass are still on the same pattern. Deep early in the morning’s and move towards the heated shallows in the afternoon coralling the baitfish. Look for birds this time of yea, they are a good indicator of where the bait is. Most of the bigger Striped bass are hanging on a 35 to 40 ft bottom. We have had our best success downlining blue-backs or small trout.
