Walleye Fishing in Georgia on Lake Lanier

Today we tried to go after Walleye instead of the Lake Lanier Striped Bass. We got probably 20 bites before we caught the first one. We ended up with six for the trip. Most of the fish were 15ft to 25ft deep. The spawn is almost over now and the big females should be hungry.

Today we had some happy customers from Buckhead Georgia. We boated 14 Striped Bass From 12 lbs to 21lbs. These fish are very strong this time of year and peel lots of fishing line off the reels!

We caught five fish this afternoon. The first coulple were in the low 20lbs range and then the 40lber hit and was a 30 minute fight on 20lbs flurocarbon. I was doubtful this fish would come boatside. Mr. Clay Wilcoxson did a great job on the reel! Lake Lanier has an awesome Striped Bass Fishery!
Lake Rabun Fishing /North Georgia Lakes

Fished today on Lake Rabun for Walleye and Bass. We had 10 Walleye bites but only managed to get one to the boat. On the other hand the bass bite was phenomenal! We caught 20a plus bass all bigger than 3lbs and one 7 lbs Largemouth. Several times we doubled up on fish. The Bass fishery here in these North Georgia lakes is awesome!
Lake Lanier Crappie Report 2-16-2012

The Crappie bite is off the hook!!! These fish are hanging in the 12 to 15ft range. The best bites are coming off of a Popeye Jig (blue) We have had our best luck shooting under docks and between boat slips.
