The Spotted Bass bite has been good lately. We have caught some bigger fish on topwater the last couple of days. Keep a topwater plug ready for these surfacing fish.
The Hybrid Bass are all over Lake Chatuge. This population seems to be thriving very well. We have had the best success fishing over a 40 to 50 ft bottom in the mouth of the creeks.
