The Bass bite has been on fire lately! We have been on some really big schools of Striped Bass. Most of the bigger schools of fish are on the south end of Lake Lanier in deep water. We have have good success down linning Blue Back Herring. Look for these fish over a 80 to 100ft bottom. Lake Lanier is full of trees and this seems to be where the Striper hang out.
